About

Design is a form of translation. It turns human stories, needs and contradictions into systems that work and experiences that resonate. That conviction has shaped 14 years of practice across creative direction, brand systems and B2B SaaS product design.

My most recent role was at Factofly, a Danish FinTech SaaS platform, where I joined as the first in-house designer — no PM, full ownership from user research through to engineering handoff, Design System built from scratch, platform scaled from 6,000 to +14,000 active users. Before that, I founded and directed a creative studio for five years, working for Coca-Cola, ING, Absolut, Havana Club and Sheraton.

My background in environmental psychology reshaped how I see design. It taught me to look beyond the screen, to consider how digital experiences ripple into behaviours, environments and sense of belonging. What once felt like interface design now feels like ecosystem design.

Today I focus on experiences that are as thoughtful as they are functional: accessible, inclusive, sustainable and quietly intuitive. And since 2023 I have been integrating generative and agentic AI into my daily practice, not as a trend but as a genuine force multiplier.

Founding designer, drove design maturity for a Fintech SaaS, establishing the scalable infrastructure needed to grow from 6k to +14k users. Responsible for the end-to-end UX/UI lifecycle.

Highlights

End-to-End Product Design: Owned the complete UX/UI scope across all core platform flows (Invoicing, Tasks, Expenses, Payroll, CRM and Time Tracking), translating complex financial logic, regulatory constraints and multi-user workflows into intuitive, elegant user journeys for non-expert users.

UX Strategy & Research: Conducted continuous user research including interviews, usability audits and usage data analysis to identify friction points and validate design decisions, building low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to test hypotheses before development investment.

Design System & Developer Handoff: Built a WCAG-compliant Design System from scratch using Atomic Design principles, Figma variables and tokens, managing rigorous developer handoff with detailed UX documentation and QA reviews to ensure pixel-perfect implementation sprint by sprint.

AI-Augmented Design Practice: Integrated generative and agentic AI tools into daily design workflows, accelerating prototyping, research synthesis and creative exploration as a genuine force multiplier rather than a trend.

Measurable Impact: Reimagined the onboarding experience achieving +35% completion rate, streamlined admin flows reducing support tickets by 30%, and established the design foundations required to scale the platform to +14,000 active users.
